PUMPKIN! PUMPKIN! PUMPKIN! The fall season is finally here and along with it comes the holiday season. Nothing says it’s the holiday season better than having a cup of pumpkin spice latte with a slice of pumpkin bread. Starbucks pumpkin bread in my opinion has to be hands down the best pumpkin bread out there. Here I show you how easy is to make your own Starbucks Pumpkin Bread without having to breaking the piggy bank. (I also show you how much of an unorganized cook I actually am)
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup roasted and salted pumpkin seeds ( They serve them with the seeds at Starbucks)
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl sift all your dry ingredients together, flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice. In a smaller bowl beat two eggs before adding the pumpkin puree, oil, and the vanilla. Once the liquid ingredients are mixed pour your mixture over the dry ingredients. Make sure to stir until all lumps are out but make sure not to over stir your mixture. Pour the mixture onto a loaf pan that has been sprayed with non-stick spray.
Optional: Once the mixture is on the pan you can sprinkle the roasted pumpkin seeds on top of bread.
Bake for 50 – 60 minutes (depending on your oven) Make sure to *toothpick test your loaf.
Cool for 7- 10 minutes in the pan, before removing.
* Toothpick Test is when you insert a toothpick in the middle of your loaf.
If the toothpick comes out clean that means your loaf is done.
